Quantum Computing, in fact, has the potential to solve complex problems that classical computers or supercomputers cannot solve or cannot solve fast enough, allowing much faster calculations for specific problems.
Quantum Computing is an ever evolving and revolutionary technology, still in its infancy. As a leader in the field of artificial intelligence, data management and cloud technologies, BIP xTech is closely following the evolution of this emerging and innovative technology, already putting it to the test in some pilot projects to probe its actual benefits.
The Event
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that on June 26-27th BIP hosted a two-days ‘Quantum Computing for the Industrial Sector’ course organized by EuroCC Italy in collaboration with Cineca, Bi-Rex, and iFAB, leading institutions in the field.
This course is part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainable development, supported by BIP’s affiliation with IFAB – International Foundation Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for Human Development.
Matteo Chiesa, BIP xTech’s Quantum Computing Team Lead, kicked off the two-days course by presenting BIP and BIP xTech’s latest engagements and achievements in the Quantum Computing field.
During the course, participants had the opportunity to learn about the state of the art of Quantum Computing, gain a basic understanding of Quantum Computing, and explore industrial applications of Quantum Computing. The two-day course was an excellent opportunity for networking and for gathering experts to discuss the next technological revolution.
