Migrating on-premise databases to the cloud

The first step in this journey was migrating on-premise databases to a cloud infrastructure. This process required replicating current dataflows while ensuring data integrity and continuity. BIP partnered with Arca Fondi Sgr to define, design, and implement a cloud-native data warehouse (DWH) on Microsoft Azure. The collaboration initiated a phased migration of on-premise databases to the cloud, creating a modern and robust foundation for financial analytics.

Enhancing dataflows and management

As part of this solution, existing dataflows were recreated in the cloud, and new dataflows were designed to enrich current information. Arca Fondi also transitioned from relying on external vendors to fully internalizing data management processes, ensuring greater control and agility. Additionally, data visualization capabilities were enhanced using both existing and new tools, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
